The church is hosting a series of lectures investigating the role of women in Christianity as both participants and movers and shakers as well. There's more going on in Biblical circles then just Mary. Entitled, "The Women," each one probes deeper into biblical teachings, history, and myth to explore complex women that made a difference and had undeniable faith.

Join the lecturer Terry as he takes a month-long look at four strong and determined women from the Old Testament. They were purposeful, driven and even a little campy (well, one WAS a queen) as they served God in unique and meaningful ways. This series is especially applicable as you start off the New Year with direction and purpose. Starting on Jan. 4th, they are:
